Overview of the Vehicle
CLW5270GXFGP110/HW dry powder foam combined fire engine modified from Sinotruk HOWo ZZ5357TXFV464MF5 Type II chassis. The vehicle consists of two major parts: the firefighter compartment and the body. The compartment is an original double row, accommodating 2+4 people. The vehicle has an exposed tank structure. The front part of the body is the dry powder tank of the equipment box, the middle part is the water tank and foam tank, and the rear part is the pump room. The liquid tank is made of high-quality carbon steel and the foam tank is made of stainless steel. The interior is coated with epoxy primer and epoxy asphalt paint and is connected to the chassis by elastic connection. The water capacity is 6000kg, the foam liquid is 3000kg, and the dry powder is 2000kg. It is equipped with CB10/60 low-pressure fire pump with a rated flow rate of 60L/S, and PL8/48 vehicle fire cannon is installed on the roof. The most prominent feature of this vehicle is its large liquid capacity, good maneuverability and easy maintenance. It can be widely used in public security fire brigades, factories, mines, enterprises, communities, docks and other places to fight large oil fires and general material fires.
The fire performance of the entire vehicle complies with the requirements of GB7956-2014 standard; The chassis is certified as a national compulsory product; Engine emissions meet the requirements of GB17691-2018 Stage VI limits (National VI standard); The vehicle has passed the inspection of the National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s announcement of new automotive products.

The top of the tank is equipped with quick-opening manholes for maintenance personnel to enter and exit. The tank is equipped with a device and a filter screen to prevent the water pump from creating vortices that could affect the flow rate.
The tank is equipped with a stainless steel float level indicator, which shows the volume of the fire extinguishing agent in the tank through the level gauge on the instrument panel; A drain with a ball valve is provided at the bottom of the tank.
The tank is equipped with two φ76mm overflow pipes and two φ76mm injection ports on each side of the carriage for the convenience of water supply and liquid filling for other vehicles.

Craftsmanship: The welding is firm and reliable, and defects such as slag inclusion and false welding are removed and cleaned. A 24-hour hydrostatic test should be conducted on the tank after welding to ensure no leakage.

Piping system
Suction pipe: The pump is equipped with a DN150 inlet, which can draw water from natural water sources, liquid tanks, and fire water storage tanks. Additionally, a conversion reducer interface can be added to connect the fire hydrant to draw water. The suction pipe is placed on the roof of the vehicle. 1 inlet with a DN150 butterfly valve (optional pneumatic butterfly valve) for connection to the water tank.
Outlet piping:
A DN100 fire cannon piping and control valve (optional pneumatic butterfly valve) is installed on the roof with a flexible joint;
A DN80 and a DN65 manual ball valve control outlet is set on each side of the pump room.
Water injection pipeline: In the pump room, there is one DN65 water pump pipeline for water injection into the tank and a control valve (optional pneumatic butterfly valve).
There are two DN65 water injection pipes on each of the left and right sides of the carriage, which can be used to inject water into the tank. The interface is an internal snap-on interface and is equipped with a cover.
Drain pipes: Drain pipes are installed in the pipes to protect the pumps and ball valves, and ball valves are provided respectively.
Cooling water lines: To enable the power take-off to handle various complex situations during operation, there are cooling water lines and control valves connected to the inlet and outlet water lines.

Main materials:
The frame and skin are made of high-strength carbon steel; The internal equipment frame is made of aluminium alloy profiles, and the interior panels are oxidized aluminium sheets.
Basic structure:
- It is an integral structure with the equipment box at the front, the water tank in the middle, and the pump room at the back.
- The pump room at the rear is equipped with a dashboard and operating system, and both the equipment box and the pump room have lockable roller shutters. The frame is welded and ensures its strength and rigidity.
- The space can be adjusted at will, and the equipment box has drainage holes.
- The equipment box is reliable, aesthetically pleasing, adjustable at will, and equipped with a large space curtain door equipment box to ensure full utilization of space.
- The carriage and pump room are equipped with lighting fixtures to meet the lighting needs during night fire-fighting operations.
Aluminium roller shutters:
- All equipment compartments and pump rooms are equipped with lockable roller shutters. The handles and lock pins are sturdy and durable, do not deform, and the sealing performance has been tested for water spray to ensure no leakage.

- For safety purposes, the entire vehicle wiring is made with an integrated wiring harness, and waterproof plugs are used at the connection points to ensure the safety of the wiring during use.
- The roof is equipped with one fire scene lighting lamp; Safety sign lights are installed on the lower sides of the vehicle, and reflective markings are affixed to the body and rear as standard.
- All equipment boxes are equipped with LED lights for use in night combat lighting.
- Four flashing lights and two side lights are installed on each side of the vehicle, safety sign lights and side reflectors (combined type) are installed on each side, with front and rear outline lights, one turn signal on each side, and lighting is available in the passenger compartment, equipment box and pump room.
- The alarm, warning lights, strobe lights and circuits are independent additional circuits, and the control devices are installed in the driver’s cabin.
- All circuits are protected by bushings, and different colors are used to distinguish the connection forms and functions of the circuits.
